由於洗衣室就在廚房隔壁，我並不希望孩子待在危險的空間，但也不願意打斷他看洗衣機運作的興致。
於是，我邀請他坐在小凳子上觀察。
連續3天，O每天準時坐在洗衣機面前，看著它運轉20分鐘。

O: When it says 3, it will spin fast. 他發現時間倒數3分鐘，洗衣機就會脫水。
O: Can I have the ring(The machine's door)? 洗衣機的蓋子可
以給我嗎？
T: I don't think so, if I give you the ring, then the washing machine won't work, then we won't have clean cloth.
O: Then the school should buy another washing machine.
T: I don't think the school has enough money to buy another washing machine. Maybe, we can make one.
第二天，我列印了一些洗衣機的圖片及一個紙皮箱。我請他形容他家的洗衣機，他很興奮地跟我描述，並在紙皮箱上畫了一個“洗衣機蓋”及“按鈕”。
第三天、第四天，我持續邀請他完成他的洗衣機。他似乎沒有興趣繼續，我也不強求。
第五天，我再次提出邀請。O沒有興趣，卻引起了另一個小孩的興趣。
T: I would like to make the washing machine.
H: What are you making?
T: This is O's washing machine. O, would you like to tell your friend what did you make?
O: I draw a door and buttons. (Ozan left immediately after explaining)
H很想完成洗衣機，過程中不容易，因為他需要用剪刀割出洗衣蓋，我就在旁邊鼓勵他。O在旁看了一會兒，決定幫忙一起完成。
當O與H剪開了洗衣蓋，U一起來幫忙用膠帶，讓紙皮箱變成立體的洗衣機。
3個小孩把娃娃的衣服放進洗衣機後，就一起震動洗衣機。衣服洗好後，還把衣服晾起來。
今天的發現：
O不是對洗衣機失去興趣，而是在製作過程中遇到瓶頸，他覺得剪開洗衣機蓋是一個大的困難，因此他選擇擱置一旁。
